What We Are About...

We believe in working hard, playing hard, and having fun anytime of the day or night. We like to keep busy and involve ourselves in multiple artistic, business ventures. We are always looking to learn more about new industries and to meet new passionate, motivated and successful people. We enjoy keeping on top of trends in design, business, music, and pop culture. After working on multiple successful interactive, marketing, design and artistic projects in Boston, New York City, and California, we are now enjoying learning more about the fashion industry, attending events, and meeting successful industry veterans and up and comers, while growing our latest business venture, Spiralwear, from the ground up.

Why Spiralwear? Why Now?... Why Not!

It all started one morning in San Diego, California, with a couple of hangovers from a long night of celebrating with scotch and beers at a local watering hole. We crashed at a friends place and woke up in our old sweat pants and t-shirts in a place with no television, just a box of crayons, and a stack of printer paper. We were too hungover to think about doing anything that meant having to get dressed, look presentable, and leave the apartment. In fact, we were lucky if we could stand up for a long period of time without getting dizzy, so we stayed in our comfortable sweats, laid on the ground, picked up some crayons and started drawing.

We could have laid there for days drawing. It made us feel like we did when we were kids again. The guilt of our hangovers and wasted day was replaced by a calm and happy feeling of nostalgia... This is what kids are actually supposed to do. It's basically their job. This is what we used to do - hang around in our comfortable t-shirts, sweat pants and play clothes all day and not feel guilty about it. Kids don't slip into a shamespiral after a fun day or night, they just run out of the house in those comfortable play clothes and feel good about themselves. On this day we came up with the name Spiralwear and soon after brought our comfortable clothing business to life.
